Dr Yudelman prefers the comfortable ultra-slim take home custom made tooth whitening trays that you wear daily for 1-2 hours or overnight.  The brand of tooth whitening gel he uses is the nite-white by Discus Dental.  For most patients he recommends the 10% gel which is gentle but very effective.

If you are calling around to check prices be sure to compare apples to apples, oranges to oranges.  Some dentists have the nurse or hygienist take impressions and give you the materials and send you on the way.  This service may cost around $299-$500. 

 Dr Yudelman likes to take the impressions himself, check the models, make the trays, deliver the trays and explain, demonstrate correct usage and then follow up with 3-4 visits personally, to monitor the progress of the procedure.  After about 18 months he may dispense at no further charge another dose or two of gel to "touch-up" if required.

The professional fee for all these visits including materials, impressions, trays, gel advice and lifetime unlimited "touch-up" kits at regular check-up visits is a total of $776.
